• Description: Offers family skills training programs to significantly improve parenting skills and family relationships, reduce problem behaviors, delinquency, and alcohol and drug abuse in children, and to improve children's social competencies and school performance. Programs include: Strengthening Families Classes - A training course that teaches parenting skills, youth life skills, and family relationship skills in a class that families attend together. Parenting Kernels Classes - "Kernels" are small changes that parents can make every day that will increase behavioral health for kids. Strengthening Families of Faith Program - Seeks to support families of faith in keeping their kids safe from risk, developing strong family and congregational ties, and learning how to integrate Christian principles into daily decision-making. LifeSkills for Teens Program - Interactive program that strengthens students' personal self-management skills, general social skills, and drug resistance skills. Keep Connected Program - Keep Connected is designed to strengthen family engagement, learn keys to positive family relationships and try new ways to stay connected as kids grow up.
